This site was first setup as a "VCR" extension to Fansub.TV to retain those older classics which have not been licensed by US Anime companies. Later we also began to include some current releases in other formats or by different groups, and now also provide official DDLs for some groups through our "MATV For Fansub Groups" feature.

FTV Mods/Sempais are welcome to use any of the links/urls here for mirror urls or the Req thread, be sure to use the link from the main pages (series, episode or the DDL link and not the actual video files as the links are time dependant. Other sites please contact us first. Please note that FTV is not responsible for items on this site, use our Forum for support.

Please note we only offer Fansub download locations for shows which have not been licensed in North America. We do not offer Licensed Anime/drama for download. For licensed anime, all episode links are removed but all images and information is retained for reference. Take down requests will be honoured if sent to legal-at-maikuando-dot-tv (remove the dashes, change "at" and "dot" to "@" and "." ).

Site News: Aug 31st - Sept 4th

Over the weekend the main server we use for this site suffered a hard drive failure, we have therefore had to re-install the server's OS from scratch. The anime and site code were stored on a separate drive, which appears to be ok. However, the databases which the site runs from were lost. The only backups were also stored on the same drive.

Most of the site is now back up and running, the DDLs and MATV for Fansub Groups are all working including adding new torrents/releases, accounts were re-created so contact Maiku_Ando on irc if you need the pass changing. Animes are being restored all the time, hopefully most of them will be back by the end of weekend.

The forum was also lost in the hd crash and still needs some work but its now working so please re-register and feel free to add in posts or threads again.
